Sardinia with travel-store24

As some of you might have seen on my Instagram and Snapchat travel-store24, the master of lastminute discounts located at Düsseldorf airport sent me and my friend Janina to Porto Cervo Sardinia. I noticed the store some weeks ago at the airport coming back from Mauritius and saw they played my travel videos in their store and got curious. The decision were to go was not so easy as they had so many last minute offers for everywhere in Europe to choose from and the lovely Fatima from travel-store24 had so many insider recommendations and tips for us. Finally we decided for Sardinia as we both love Italy and haven’t been there before and I love to explore new places.

We got our tickets, went home, packed and 24 hours later sat on a plane to Olbia already. Our hotel was the Balocco Porto Cervo a very cozy little 4 star hotel embedded in a tropical garden atmosphere we immediately fell in love with and it turned out to be the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the island. travel-store24 organized a rental car for us as well which I would recommend all of you to get when planning to visit Sardinia as otherwise it is quite tricky to get around. Every day we explored some different beaches of Costa Smeralda which were all so beautiful with crystal clear turquoise water. Besides the famous Cappricioli, my favorite beach was the slightly hidden Principe del Spiaggia. Phi Beach Club is another must visit. Its the best place to watch the sunset while lying on a beachbed with a glass of wine and some lounge music.

An evening walk through Porto Cervo Port will amaze you with some of the biggest yachts you have ever seen. The entire atmosphere on the island with its cute streets full of flowers is very cozy and romantic and makes this destination a perfect getaway for couples or families. There is some nightlife as well but also the clubs are rather small and cozy so I would not recommend Porto Cervo for groups of friends looking for the big party holiday.

In overall I loved Porto Cervo for their beaches and with its short flying time from west Germany it’s a great island for a beach escape.

For all of you by the way who do not live around Düsseldorf but still would like to check out the travel-store24 offers, you can reach them online and even send them your travel plan via whatsapp and they will try to find the same offer for a better deal for you 🙂

How to get there: We flew with airberlin from Cologne to Olbia.

Where to stay: We fell in love with Balocco Hotel Porto Cervo for its cozy pool area, the chocolate cake at their breakfast buffet and an atmosphere that made us feel like home.

Where to eat: The best pizza you will find at Spinnaker. All pasta lovers need to try the endless pasta variatios at Hioava Restaurant.

What not to miss: Phi Beach club for the best sunset views in club lounge atmosphere attracting the jip crowd from the island every evening.

Where to eat: The best Pizza at Spinnaker. Pasta lovers will find happiness at Hivaoa restaurant.

Where to party: Ritual is probably the coolest club location around Porto Cervo being a cave club located on a hill looking like an old ruin castle. The dance area is half outdoor with detailed pillow corners to chill and several dance floors where they play party classics, house and electro. Another and probably the most legendary club in Porto Cervo is Flavio Briatores Billionaire’s club. The club is small, and yes its quite tacky and expensive but if you like the jetset kind of clubs you might want to give it a try.
