Phuket @ The Pavilions

Located in the northwest of Phuket, the Pavilions welcomes guests above the age of 16 and is designed as a couples retreat.

49 luxurious villas of 3 categories each with infinity pool with stunning views promise privacy and make tanning without tanning lines possible. I had an ocean view villa that comes with a huge 12×4 meter pool which is one of the biggest private pools I have seen in a room.

The entire property is build for couples and my favorite part was the inhouse massage by the spa in your own room. The Pavilions Spa offers a big variety of treatments from facials over jetlag massages to wraps and scrubs. Besides afternoon tea and snacks in the main restaurant, the 360 bar is a nice spot for some sunset drinks and snacks with view over the bungalows. Everything is designed in modern thai style with signature colors being red and black and around the property you find many exotic plants which create a charming, romantic atmosphere. The Pavilions Phuket spread the vibe of serviced luxury villas which is great for all who like to spend the majority of their time privately in the villa.

A hotel perfect for couples and honeymooners who like it romantic, quiet and silent.

What else to do:

 Phuket Weekend market:

As I stayed over the weekend and being a market lover I of course had to visit Phuket Weekend market which takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 4pm-9pm, located at Chao Fa West road, a 30 minute drive from the Pavilions Phuket.

Even if you don’t want to buy anything I can recommend you to visit this market. From vintage clothing over gadgets over touristy gifts over living animals and the biggest local food selection you can imagine, you will find it all here.

I actually still have no idea what food I had as descriptions were mostly in thai and many of the local variations I have never seen before but everything I tried tasted surprisingly well.

  • I stayed here in one of their 2 story villas. Huge yard with large 12×4 infinity pool, outdoor cabana plus chaises. The overall decor was Asian contemporary. Very sheik. The greatroom had a full size dining table, with floating stairs to the Master suite upstairs. The greatroom had a huge xtra stuft couch facing a large flat screen TV. We spent several nights on the couch snuggled up, watching TV and eating room service. The food is very reasonably priced and outstanding Thai. The head Chef when we were there was a local from San Clemente, CA (where I live). I recommend the cooking lessons for couples! The Master suite and bath was gorgeous. Huge amazing bed, sofit lighting, a free form porcelain tub mid room, rainfall and jet shower, outdoor shower which I recommend at night, walk in closets, all very contemporary. Lg deck off master suite overlooking pool, with wrap around lounge seating. The spa had two massage tables, sauna, steam shower, and full bath all off glass doors leading out to a zen garden. This place is AMAZING! Great grounds for walking, within walking distance of sandy beach and “local” bars on the beach. Hook up with a driver who speaks good English and call him directly. You’ll make a friend and get the local tours. Visit the giant Buddha and add your own tile.

  • Wow, deine Bilder sind einfach nur genial und wunderschön. Ich bin über Instagram auf die Seite gekommen und begeistert. Tolles Leben hast du da, beneidenswert. 🙂
