Last week I had the pleasure to travel to Portugal to test the new product range of Fa. Together with some other blogger we stayed at the Vila Vita Parc Hotel which is located in a beautiful garden areal along the coastline of the Algarve. Unfortunately we were a bit unlucky with the weather but the Fa team still managed to organize some fun activities outdoors.
We started with driving to the first location in Lagos which was the small hotel Casa Mae with super cozy interior where everything was decorated with lots of flowers matching the new limited edition Fa flower me up which consists of shower gel and deodorant. My favorite scent is the magnolia kiss which reminds me of fresh spring air and flowers. It also comes in another scent, the purple lily secret which is also nice and a little more discreet. We did a flower workshop where a florist from Lisbon explained us how to create flower bouquets shortly before everyone selected some flowers and tried in on their own. Even though I had a flower bouquet session already in Tahiti some weeks ago like some of you might remember, I think it takes a little time to become a professional in this or I am just not the most talented person 😀 Still we had a lot of fun and it was a wonderful evening that we finished with a delicious dinner at Casa Mae.
The next morning was dedicated to the new Fa Active & Pure deodorants. The special thing about these deodorants is that they are free of alcohol and don’t include any aluminium salts which makes the feeling of the product very fresh and light without any pains or burning after shaving. Especially when traveling so much and having days that can be quite active with hiking or on the beach, it is nice to have a product like Fa Active & pure that gives you 48 hour protection and feels just overall very soft and light.
We had a very healthy vitamin breakfast with lots of smoothies, juices and fruits and the special highlight was the visit of Fa testimonial and professional surfer Maya Gabeira. It was super nice to meet Maya who is very inspirational and has always followed her dream of becoming a professional surfer. And by the way guys if you are into surfing you should check out the crazy high waves she surfs 🙂
Unfortunately as I was a bit sick with an ear infection I couldn’t join the upcoming surf lesson with Maya on the beach which looked amazing fun though.
In the afternoon it was all about spa time and relaxation with experiencing the new Fa Honey edition including honey shower gel and shower crème. I love everything with a spoon of honey and so the honey shower gel was a very positive surprise as I have never tried honey shower gels before and its very gentle and moisturizes the skin making it feel super soft. After some afternoon tea we could decide between a facial and a massage, and as a massage addict I had to choose the aromatherapy massage which was the perfect finish of the trip to relax and unwind before I had to catch a next morning early flight home again.
